How To Get Rid of a Yeast Infection Naturally

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Yeast infections are really very common, particularly in the summer but these are among the most miserable and uncomfortable problems women endure. Caused by the candida albicans fungus, as soon as it starts to grow the resulting itching and burning can go on for a great many days or even months unless it is treated promptly . The first step is to be positive that what you have is a simple yeast infection and definitely not a more serious issue, so if you have the slightest doubt consult your doctor straight away. The vast majority of women are familiar with their own propensity for getting yeast infections that they recognize the earliest symptoms of the infection and choose to know how to cure the yeast infection naturally.

Natural remedies really are quite straightforward and cost effective. A peeled clove of garlic wrapped in a small piece of cheesecloth, and then tied off with a little sterile dental floss could be slipped into the vagina, definitely being very careful to leave sufficient dental floss for removal. Left in nightly, this kind of natural treatment should be repeated each evening until the infection has abated. Yogurt can also be really very beneficial. A regular plastic tampon applicator may be loaded with plain yogurt, frozen and then used to place the now frozen yogurt into the vagina. The lactobacillus acidophilus in the natural yogurt destroys the candida fungus usually rather quickly and at the same time restores the body’s normal Ph balance.

You may also take acidophilus capsules, a popular natural remedy for yeast infection, from your local health food store, and drink acidophilus milk also. Lots of fresh cranberry juice or cranberry tablets is another natural way to lessen the symptoms of both a yeast infection or a budding urinary tract infection as well. Douches are often advocated and provide relief for the burning and itching symptoms. If you choose this solution be certain that you are using items which have not been infected with the fungus by prior use. Then use one cup of water to a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. Avoid baking soda as this will inflame the infection. You can also use a tablespoon of white vinegar in place of the peroxide if you wish.

You may pick up an infection eventhough you are not active yet sexually and hot weather will also increase your chances of getting one if you’re prone to them. In summer months you might need to bath more than once or twice a day and possibly change your underwear twice a day as well to prevent bacterial growth of even a minute amount before it gets out of control. One final suggestion for effective and natural assistance is to cover a tampon with lubricating jelly and then apply tea tree oil to it, effectively using it as a vaginal suppository. The KY jelly will stop the tampon from absorbing the oil ahead of it having the chance to work for you.

As with any remedy, you must maintain rigorous hygiene, drink plenty of fresh water and steer clear of sugary drinks or food. If you might have any reason, no matter how small to think you could have anything that is more than a straightforward yeast infection, you really must see the GP quickly.

Ways To Entice Your Picky Child To Eat

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Parents of toddlers and preschoolers are usually faced with the trouble of delivering proper nutrition to their children. Through this phase, a kid may only want to eat a number of food items and it is particularly hard to introduce a food, which they are not used to eating. As much as parents would like their young children to eat a well balanced diet, it can even be hard particularly if their food choices haven’t matured yet.

Younger kids would readily give up a food for play time. Quite a few parents would often try to insist that their child will eat at a specific time of the day. Although this is great, young kids have a tendency to eat only when they are hungry. Never threaten the child to eat when you wish him to since it will only intensify power struggle. This could not be helpful to kids who want to exercise their autonomy.

Snacks and liquid beverages may be filling, but it is not advisable to offer your child any of these food items one hour prior to a meal. A kid who is hungry is much more motivated to eat as compared to those who are partly full. Parents need to be creative to entice a child to eat. It may be great to purchase eating utensils with your kid’s favorite cartoon character to make eating a fun activity. Apart from that, mothers and fathers should also go the extra mile in terms of preparing enticing food items. Kids may want to try food that is pleasing to their eyes. Parents then need to focus on shape, color and aroma in presenting their meals.

Kids will always have preferred meals. If your child prefers breakfast because he prefers cereals and pancake, then by all means offer it during lunch or supper. Young children will not understand any distinction between breakfast, lunch or dinner. The important thing is that he could get the vitamins and nutrients from healthy and balanced food choices. Parents must also not give up very easily when they introduce new food items. A kid may need repeated exposure to the new food, in order for him to be convinced to give it a try. It is also great to set a routine for eating. Serve food at approximately the same time each day to establish a routine. In order for your youngster to pay attention to the food, you must minimize distractions. Do not integrate food with play in order not to confuse your kid with the goal of meal times.

Young children are smart and they can easily point out most food items that they dislike in a meal. Therefore gardians need to devise a plan, on how to sneak in greens or fruits into a kid’s favorite dish. Pasta can be one of the early favorites of kids. Parents then need to jump on the chance to mix essential vegetables in their diet. Pureed greens like broccoli or green peppers can be blended to spaghetti sauce, without your children knowing it. Incorporating “camouflaged” vegetables to your little one’s favorite dishes might be a good way in giving him proper vitamins, without going through a meal time battle.

It may additionally help if you involve your child in the process of preparing food. In the grocery, allow him to assist you while you choose fruits and various healthy food items. This provides him a sense of control as to what he would rather eat. Make food preparation a fun activity and allow your kid to participate.

It may additionally be great not to buy food items which you don’t want your child to eat. It may be challenging to discourage children to eat junk foods if they see it around the house, or if they see you eat it. Parents must set a good example so that kids could try to emulate the good practice. It may be challenging to feed young children especially when they are very picky. Nevertheless parents can breathe a sigh of relief because as children will grow older, their food tastes will also mature.

The Witches’ Market: Spells, Amulets, Charms and Dried Llama Fetuses!

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Location: La Paz, Bolivia – El Mercado de las Brujas/Mercado de Hechiceria (Witches’ Market) Street Location: Calle Linares, between Calle Sagarnaga and Santa Cruz

“Son para dinero y trabajo,” the plump little witch raises the talismans to eye level. “Con estos tu tendras buena suerte.”

Magic talismans for money and jobs? Do they work? Of course not, but I need all the luck I can get, so I purchase the talismans for five Bolivianos. Darn cheap if they’ll do as claimed. Depositing the new toys in my leather shoulder bag I continue down the street, with my wife teasing me to the tune of “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” She says that I have the hat, jacket and bag similar to Indiana Jones’, but lack the bullwhip and gun. I left those in the States.

The cobbled street of Calle Linares hosts a crowded line of unusual stores collectively known as El Mercado de las Brujas, The Witches’ Market, located in downtown La Paz, and it sums up Bolivia’s strangeness quite well. Bolivia is where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and revolutionary Che Guevara all met their fate. This is where the British ambassador to Bolivia was strapped naked to a donkey, paraded around the capital, and forced to eat a huge quantity of chocolate after declining the local drink ‘chicha.’ This is where the original Garden of Eden is located (or so the locals colorfully exclaim). This is where the Salt Palace sits, a hotel made entirely of, well, salt. And this is where a young girl in Aymara dress, sitting amidst an array of several curiosities, offers my wife and I a dried llama fetus to protect our house against evil spirits. I nod my approval, Veronica makes a face and shakes her head.

“Por favor entren,” with a slight bow the girl opens her hands to the store’s entrance. “Hay muchas mas cosas adentro.”

The untidy place looks like something out of a horror movie. Mounted animal heads glare at me with unseeing eyes, feathers and potions adorn the tables, herbs spill from their dirty bags onto the wooden floor as a dog sniffs the powerful smells. I examine the items in no particular order as the girl offers them. For luck with a new business enterprise I can buy a llama fetus burnt on a plate of sweets and herbs – too big to pack. The love amulet is to get married – don’t need that one. An amulet of a naked couple embracing to improve the sex life – hhhmmmmm.

Dried frogs for more money, armadillos to prevent thieves from entering the house, love potions, magic charms, animal skins, medicines and remedies used in Aymara traditions are all for sale – what should I choose?

I notice a large collection of different colored candles. Intent upon making several sales the girl provides me with an explanation of their powers. They are made of animal wax and when burned release their magical properties. The blue candle is for good luck with work, yellow – health, green – money, purple – happiness, black wards off evil spirits, only to be used in a cemetery covered by night, white – protection…

With reverence I pull the black candle off its shelf . “Look at this Vero! This is what we need.”

“Hey Indiana,” she looks up from the naked couple amulet. “I don’t think so.”

Where did I leave my bullwhip?

If the black candle is going to cause problems a few talismans will have to do. I load up ten more in my shoulder bag, making sure that I include the toad talisman for good luck with money, and the deity talisman for buena suerte with jobs.

But do they actually work? Well, you’re reading this article.

Walking in the Hills? Take a Walking Stick

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

If you work or play in the high country, there are certain pieces of equipment that, with experience, you eventually realize are essential. One of the least talked about but most useful is a hill stick. So, what are hill sticks and why are they necessary? Alternatively known as a walking staff, walking stick or alpenstock as they are called in Europe, these walking sticks are used for hiking, playing or working in the hills. In keeping with their environment, most walking staffs are usually made of a strong local wood, approximately chest high and are used for extra stability while travelling through rough or steep terrain.

For 1000′s of years, shepherds, ranchers, hunters and travelers have used a staff of some sort to help them maintain balance in steep or difficult terrain. In places like New Zealand, the shepherds of the backcountry have used hill sticks when working “on the hill” since sheep and cattle were first introduced on the mid 1800′s.

Each country will have it’s own suitable wood to make a hill stick. In New Zealand they have a bush called manuka, known to most people around the world as tea tree. Manuka is renowned for being incredibly strong, knot free, and found in long straight lengths, an ideal material for the trusty hill stick. An ideal stick is generally around 25 mm in diameter and cut to approximately 1.6 metres long. Many stock handlers prefer a thicker stick, but for general hill work and hunting, 25mm is about right. Manuka grows all over New Zealand, and the best sticks are obtained from thick patches of tall manuka, where the bushes have had to compete with each other for sunlight and grown tall and thin. When you find a suitable patch of manuka, cut several sticks and take them home to dry. Once dry, it is an easy process to strip the paper-thin bark off the stick and tidy up any small knots or branches there may be. And that’s all it takes to make a hill stick.

Once you have one, what do you do with it? Most people who spend long periods of time in the mountains and hills carry them nearly all the time. Usually, when you’re walking on flat, level ground, the stick can just be used in the traditional vertical manner and brought back to the horizontal when the going gets rough and you need that extra stability. Where it really comes in to its own is on the hill and sidling. On the hill, the hill stick should be carried horizontal, in two hands across your front. The top end [the good end] is in the palm of your outside hand. The other hand or hill hand is approximately half way along the stick and carrying the stick under the hand. From here, it is simple to hold the stick up on the outside and press down on your hill hand to provide extra stability, and take some of your weight. Or use the tripod principle, using the stick as a ‘third leg’ to provide additional stability on particularly steep or dangerous terrain. For hill work it is only useful if it is being used horizontal, used vertically, with only one hand, a hill stick is really of no use, yet this is how most people seem to use one.

Experienced Hunting Guides and fishermen have also found a hill stick to be invaluable. Clear water sight fishing usually involves walking over several kilometers of rocky riverbeds and many stream crossings. In difficult terrain, particularly around bluffs or banks a hill stick is used for balance, but in the river, a hill stick provides stability as a third leg, especially on deep or swift river crossings.

Such a simple idea, and for very little cost, a hill stick is an invaluable piece of “kit”. Try one sometime, you may be surprised how much easier you can traverse steep terrain, and how much strain it takes out of working or playing in hill country.

Chianti Means Wine, First Of All

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

The beauty and charm of the Chianti hills have been described by many. The grace of Chianti’s landscapes and villages, with their little alleys and magic corners, and Chianti’s churches, have fascinated passersby for more than a century. Out of all the attractions that this amazing region offers, one in particular stands out from all the others and has become legendary over the centuries.

Not many wines in the world can claim the same popularity. Brunello and Barolo are certainly good wines, but Chianti, although a little less aristocratic, is somehow more social and convivial. Chianti is a wine for both lords and peasants, a wine to sip at sunset, at the end of a hard day of work, while looking at the light that touches the long vineyards and the twisted branches of the olive trees.

A wine that perfectly suits its natural container, the ‘fiasco’, the easily recognizable straw-rapped bottle that will make you instantly think of old taverns. The fiasco bottle is becoming hard to find in times of silicon and plastic. However here in Chianti, where time has stopped, the humble fiasco is still playing a regal role.

Where did Chianti originate? Let’s find out while flying on the wings of time and sipping a good glass of Chianti Classico…a wine that we can still enjoy today, but that tells us a lot about the olden days.

The name Chianti has uncertain origins. The most convincing explanation brings it back to an Etruscan word, ‘clante’ meaning water. The Chianti region was rich in watercourses and this helped vineyards flourish. However, apart from these hypothesis, the word Chianti started to indicate a precise region during the Middle Ages, when, in the XIII century, the Military Chianti League was constituted to join the areas of Radda, Gaiole and Castellina.

The league was born to defend these territories from the war between Siena and Florence that was taking place at that time. However, once the conflict was over, the League decided to market its most prestigious product across the region: the Chianti wine.

The League symbol was a black rooster in a golden field. The same symbol is now used to indicate the Consorzio del Vino del Chianti Classico, one of the associations that protects the Chianti wine.

A curious legend lies behind the black rooster symbol. According to the story, in 1208 the rivalry republics of Florence and Siena came to an agreement to establish the respective borders. At the rooster’s crow early in the morning, two horsemen would take off, one from Siena and the other from Florence. Their meeting point would represent the border between the two republics. The Florentines, however, cheated and did not feed their black rooster the day before the departure. The hungry rooster started crowing earlier than usual, and the Florentines gained more land than if the rooster had started crowing at the right time of the day.

It wasn’t until 1398 that the word Chianti was used to indicate a particular type of wine. It is curious to think that it was used at that time to indicate a white wine that wasn’t even particularly good!

However, this was only the beginning. Over time the fame of this red wine grew incessantly, and by the end of the 1500′s it could already be found on the Pope’s table. In 1536, for instance, the bottler Sante Lancerio recommended it to Pope Paolo III. And we all know that Popes really love good wine!

Chianti was the first wine in history to be granted a sort of ‘controlled origin denomination’. It was the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Cosimo the third, who, at the beginning of the XVIII century, established the boundaries of the territories in which the wine produced could be called Chianti. The name of this wine would not only work as an indicator of its prestigious quality, but also as an indication of the way it had to be produced to be called such.

However, the most important character in the history of this popular wine was Bettino Ricasoli, a baron and politician, who was also an expert farmer and knew a lot about wine. Between 1834 and 1837, the baron carried out several experiments on his properties around the Castle of Brolio, until he identified the perfect formula to mix wines and obtain Chianti.

This wine reached its highest popularity level between 1860 and 1870. At that time Florence was the capital city of Italy and Chianti started to be sold in Italy, England and all over Europe. This was also due to the fact that France was undergoing a crisis in wine production during those years. So this is how Chianti became the most popular wine in the world.

There are different types of Chianti, depending on the areas where it is produced, but only one can be praised with the title of Chianti Classico and label its bottles (or fiascos) with the black rooster symbol. It is the wine produced in the area around Castellina, Radda, Gaiole and Greve and partly around Barberino D’Elsa, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Poggibonsi, San Casciano, Tavarnelle. Moreover, in order to be labeled as a Chianti Classico, this wine must contain precise percentages of different types of grapes and follow specific picking and production methodologies.

Well, Tuscany produces many high quality wines, but only a few earn this prestigious title!

The proud black rooster on these bottles reminds us every time we sip a good Chianti of the prestigious story behind this sweet nectar, with its popes, grand dukes, barons and, last but not least, all the people of that region. Having survived for centuries, this story deeply is rooted in ancient Tuscan traditions and today still gives us one of the most delicious fruits of the earth.

We are situated in the main square of Greve in Chianti, a picturesque small town near the two main historical cities in Tuscany: Florence and Siena.

A No Waste Lunch Means A Cleaner Planet And A Healthier You

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Bringing a now waste lunch with you is an eco-friendly, healthier, and thriftier option than buying prepared, to-go food. Disposable “brown bag” lunches can generate between 4-8 ounces of trash daily. That adds up to an average of 100 pounds annually!

Not only do prepared and processed foods contain excess packaging, they are also up to 25% more expensive. And with the alarming increase of childhood obesity and diabetes, it’s more important than ever to teach healthy eating habits, especially when bringing your own lunch can save you money too.

A No Waste Lunch differs from the conventional brown bag by eliminating disposable paper and packaging. Everything is packed in reusable containers, disposable paper is replaced with cloth, and disposable cutlery is replaced with reusables.

As landfills across North America reach capacity, more and more schools are working to educate students on the importance of the other 3Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle. And many schools are beginning to adopt No Waste Lunch programs, since lunch refuse is one of the leading sources of trash generated by schools.

The reduction of waste translates to savings in cleanup costs and a reduction in CO2 emissions. In California, the California Waste Free School (WFS) program has helped local schools to succeed in diverting over 6928.4 tons of material from local landfills, saving participating school districts approximately $413,518 to date. http://www.wastefreeschools.org/PDF/away_waste.pdf

The basic steps to waste reduction as outlined by WFS are simply translated: Reduce the amount of disposable waste you pack, pack Reusable products, and Recycle anything you have left over.

As families begin back to school preparations, now is the perfect time to incorporate No Waste lunch ideas to make a positive difference for your health, the planet and your wallet.

Easy Tips for a No Waste Lunch

Replace your disposable lunch bag with a reusable lunch tote. When half of the stuff we throw away each day comes from food waste and packaging, you’ll make a difference for your health and your wallet by switching to reusables.

Bring your drink in a BPA-free reusable bottle. It not only reduces waste, it promotes good health since you’re assured no toxins will leach into your drink. With an average savings of $200 per year over disposable water bottle costs, reusable bottles are a safe and sensible solution.

Eliminate disposable foils, plastics and bags by replacing them with reusable containers and sandwich wraps. Available in a variety of materials, reusable containers come in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit most any size lunch tote. Buying food in bulk is a great way to reduce packaging in general, and often saves money too.

Choose reusable cutlery as an alternative to disposable plastic, or bring your stainless steel cutlery from home. Reusable cutlery is available in a variety of sustainable materials. Stainless steel travels well when wrapped in a cloth napkin, just rewrap after use for easy cleanup at home.

Cloth Napkins are a money-saving, tree-free alternative to paper. You can green your kitchen and save an average of $60 per year by eliminating disposable paper and plastics from your shopping list.

Insulated Thermos-type food and beverage containers keep foods and beverages at the right temperature, so the soup you made over the weekend will stay warm enough for lunch. You may also be surprised at the number of leftover meals that will suddenly become lunch options with the right travel containers.

There are plenty of options and methods for every personality out there to have a no waste lunch that works.

Bouncing Bundles Of Joy Possible When Infertility Clinics Help Out

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

For most women, getting pregnant is not that hard. One simply has to find the right partner before doing what comes naturally for a pregnancy to occur. However, there are some unfortunate souls who try for years and get absolutely nowhere and this is where special care is needed to give a couple what they want. For those who may be experiencing some difficulty, try looking up ‘fertility clinic’ or ‘infertility treatment’ online so that a local center can be found and enquiries made.

We must all have heard by now of the many things which preclude someone from having a child. For a man, it may well be that the sperm he produces are just not strong enough, or they may have deformed tails which stops them getting to where they are supposed to go. Indeed, he may not be producing any sperm at all and this is very devastating for those who would like to have a child. For the woman, many things can go wrong since her reproductive system is quite complicated. A series of events have to occur in the right order for the egg to reach where the sperm is and if it does not, then obviously pregnancy will not occur.

Women who have had trouble with fibroids, growths inside the womb, irregular periods, where she may not be producing eggs every month, and fallopian tubes which are scarred or blocked are probably the main reasons for the problem with her. These problems can often be corrected over time but some of them need surgical intervention to sort out. Obviously, this is no easy task and it is this that hampers the progress for many.

For those who have a male partner who has no sperm, very often the couple will be able to take advantage of donor sperm ‘banked’ by individuals who want to help couples in just such a position. Although the couple will never be told exact details of the donor, they will be able to know what the donor does, if he is intelligent, what his general looks are and so on so that the couple can get a close match to how they themselves look.

Sometimes a brother or close family member may be allowed to donate sperm too so that the genes are the same as the would-be father. This is quite an anonymous act so it really is not that difficult to see why some couples would prefer to go this route.

However, when all is said and done, it is the clinicians which make this whole thing possible. Sometimes the woman will have to undergo some rather painful hormone therapy before her eggs are harvested and this can also be a trying time for the male half of the duo. The woman is likely to get very irritable and feel bloated, but this is surely a small price to pay for that wonderful bundle of joy that should emanate from this whole procedure. Some couples do it all over again not long after they get the first child which shows how great the experience is.

Stewart Wrighter has been searching the termfertility clinic Guelph Ontario on the web in order to write an article on the subject for a major news magazine. His sister searched the terminfertility treatment Guelph Ontario to locate a facility in her area.

Home From Home Vacation Rentals Set In Stunning Countryside

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

There are companies that have been set up to take care of properties that are only used one or twice in a year. Owners realized that rather than letting these places sit and deteriorate, it was much better to rent them out to like-minded people to love them and enjoy them for a vacation every now and then. This is where the Rancho Mirage vacation rental property and Anaheim vacation rental came into being.

Most people are really tired of being cooped up in a hotel room when they are on vacation. The kids get under feet and the parents do not have any time to be alone together. However, by getting places like this, they have the run of the whole property in some instances and even extended family can go along too to enjoy the vacation. Some of these properties have much to offer the tired and harassed family when they want to get away from it all. Most have a private area and some have a Jacuzzi and pool as standard. A country club should be on hand too with a wonderful golf course for the grown-ups to get some much needed exercise. For the kids, there could well be some community pools so that they can interact with other children who are also on vacation. The clubhouse will also run some extra activities for the kids so that they do not get bored either.

The bedrooms in some of these villas have to be seen to be believed. Not only does the giant master bedroom have two full sized beds, it also has a sofa bed so that the couple can just relax in the ambient atmosphere. The bathrooms are fully equipped with towels and driers, shampoo and conditioners and all the rest of the accoutrements that people need when they are doing their hair and such. Kitchens too are a wonder to behold since they have stainless steel cooking equipment and all kinds of modern equipment. Two microwaves also mean that there is no waiting when the kids want to heat snacks and this in itself should save any squabbles and arguments too.

If it is raining outside, and the kids just want to kick back and watch some TV, three is usually state of the art electronics to keep them busy. Imagine watching the game on a fifty five inch flat screen TV complete with cable and the latest movies on tap. Since this place will be like a home from home, golf carts and bicycles are usually included too so that the car can remain in the garage while the family get some exercise now and then.

Of course, no one can do without the internet these days either so most of these venues have high speed connections as well. Finish this off with a laundry room with all the paraphernalia that anyone needs to keep all the clothes in pristine condition and one can see that this will be a holiday to remember for sure.

Author Stewart Wrighter recently contacted several travel agents to locate superiorRancho Mirage Vacation Rental spots for his family to enjoy. He reserved anAnaheim Vacation Rental for his family to enjoy this summer.

Throw A Surprise Spongebob Birthday Bash

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Throw the ultimate Surprise SpongeBob birthday bash, complete with invitations, party supplies, decorations, thank you notes, party favors, and party games. SpongeBob is an extremely popular children’s TV character that kids adore. Even so, planning a surprise party regardless of the theme requires proper planning and the help of others. Consider taking the birthday boy or girl out for an extended amount of time so the party decorations can be put up and guests can arrive in secret.

SpongeBob Invitations: Parents either can create handmade SpongeBob party invitations or purchase pre-made invitations that bear the likeness of the famous sponge. In either case, it is important that the party is indeed a SURPRISE party. Include all the prudent information such as date, time, and special travel directions if needed.

SpongeBob Party Supplies and Decorations: Include basic party supplies and decorations such as tableware items (party packs), banners, streamers, foil balloons, scene setters. Scene setters are great for decorating large wall creating the effect as if the party is taking place under the water. Use colored streamers and crepe paper for blue water, brown for sand and green for seaweed.

SpongeBob Arts & Crafts Projects For Children: Have children create SpongeBob related arts & crafts projects children can take home. Make a paper SpongeBob by using colored construction paper (yellow, light brown, white, red, and blue). Draw the mouth of SpongeBob with a black marker or crayon. Printout a SpongeBob picture so children can follow it as a template.

SpongeBob Party Food: SpongeBob lives in the ocean so the natural choice for party food is seafood. Seafood dishes to consider are popcorn shrimp, crab cakes, and star cookies. In honor of the loveable SpongeBob character, prepare star-shaped cookies with a cookie cutter and layer them with yummy pink icing. And, as SpongeBob is a sea sponge that resembles a piece of cheese, also be sure to serve a platter boasting different types of cheeses.

And don’t forget SpongeBob drinks like pink lemonade and ocean blue slushies.

Not every child or parents love seafood so it is also recommended to include non-seafood dishes such as pizza or burgers.

SpongeBob Party Games: Mr. Krab Walk is a fun game that encourages plenty of positive, enjoyable activity among the kids. Show the children how to crab walk position – hands and feet are on the floor (arms stretched down behind their feet) with head and torso facing up. Place pineapples on either end of the part area. Divide the group into two teams and have the teams stand on either side of one of the pineapples. Have the first player from each team do the Krab walk from one pineapple to the other, and then back again. Repeat this process until every team member has walked. First team to finish wins.

Sponge Squeeze Game: Dive children into two teams. The object of the game is two transfer as much water in one bucket to another using only a sponge. Place two buckets of water on one side and two empty buckets 15 feet apart or so. When ready, have children dip the sponge in the bucket soaking as much water as possible, race to the empty bucket and squeeze the water in the bucket. After 5 minutes or so, the team with the most water in the bucket is the winner.
